The following services are for new high school seniors
SETTING EXPECTATIONS
Review of income and assets to determine financial aid eligibility. 1 hour / $325
This service is for families of high school juniors or seniors that are preparing for the college process. We will discuss which school choices will be most financially viable given your particular financial situation, taking into account your income and assets. Please have your student’s preliminary school list prepared. You will exit this one hour Zoom meeting with a list of suggested schools, adjusted based on your student’s parameters and family financial circumstances.
FAFSA for NEW STUDENTS
Up to 1.5 hours / $465
This service is for families of high school seniors who are preparing to apply to college. The FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. It is required by all colleges for students who are applying for financial aid. In this Zoom meeting, we will work together to create the necessary FSA accounts and I will guide you through completion and submission of the FAFSA for up to 20 colleges.
CSS PROFILE for NEW STUDENTS
Up to 1.5 hours / $465
This service is for families of high school seniors who are preparing to apply to college. The CSS Profile is a complex financial aid application required by many private colleges to determine a family’s eligibility for aid. This form takes a more in depth look at your family’s finances. Our service includes a 1.5 hour long Zoom meeting during which we will review tax documents and other required information as I guide you through completion and submission of the CSS Profile to as many colleges require this application on your list. In the end, you will submit the CSS Profile with confidence that you have provided the correct answers. You will receive a list of required information available prior to our meeting to help you prepare. It is strongly advised to have all information prior to our meeting.
The following services are suitable for anyone looking for guidance
General Consultation
Up to 1 hour / $225
This service is available to anyone looking for general consulting regarding college financial aid. This is a Zoom meeting for up to one hour and will not include the completion or review of any applications.
Loan Counseling
This service is for families of all undergraduate and graduate students that are interested in securing loans for undergraduate or graduate school. This can include federal direct loans, parent PLUS loans, and private loan applications. During this hour-long consultation, I will explain the loan process and available loan options. You will be guided through the loan application process, and if necessary, you will be provided with a list of required information for the application process.
The following services are appropriate for students that are applying for their sophomore, junior or senior year of college and graduate students. You must have an established FSA account and College Board account.
FAFSA for RETURNING STUDENTS
This service is for students that have submitted a FAFSA for the prior year and are returning to college or graduate school. It includes a review of tax documents and an hour-long Zoom meeting to guide you through the FAFSA. During this meeting, we will complete and submit the FAFSA to your school of choice.
CSS PROFILE for RETURNING STUDENTS
This service is for students that have submitted a CSS Profile for the prior year and are returning to college or graduate school. Our service includes a 1.5 hour long Zoom meeting during which we will review tax documents and other required information as I guide you through completion and submission of the CSS Profile. In the end, you will submit the CSS Profile with confidence that you have provided the correct answers. You will be provided with a list of required information prior to our meeting. It is strongly advised to have all information prepared prior to our meeting.
